Couscous is a traditional food product that combines the features of pasta and groats, as well as the name of the dish prepared from it. The couscous is steamed, over boiling meat and vegetables, or poured with boiling water and set aside for a few minutes to soak up water. Well prepared should be loose. It is served with various additives, especially mutton. Poultry and fish can also be served in couscous or fried together with vegetables, e.g. with pumpkin, or pour seasoned broth.
