The package contains 24 pcs. individually packaged cookies, which makes them perfect for travel, as a sweet snack. Ma’amoul are Arabic shortbread cookies stuffed with dates, pistachios or walnuts.

They can be shaped like a ball, convex or flattened. They are very popular in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and other Middle Eastern countries.

Many Arab households have them in stock throughout the year, but they are especially consumed on religious holidays.

Ingredients : dates, wheat flour, unhydrogenated palm fat, glucose, butter mixture [palm oil, anhydrous milk fat, mono and diglycerides, butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), butter flavor, potassium sorbate, buttermilk powder, color, acid lemon], corn starch, eggs, whey powder, honey, glycerin, salt, mono and diglycerides, sodium bicarbonate (E500), flavors (butter, ethyl vanillin).
